We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural NOMRad Conference organized by the NOMATEN Centre of Excellence, established under the International Research Agenda programme (IRAP PLUS) at the National Centre for Nuclear Research (NCBJ), Otwock, Poland.
The NOMATEN International Radiopharmaceutical Conference will be held in Warsaw, June 25-27, 2024. The NOMRad Conference is organized as part of a project granted by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Welcome to Poland program.
This conference promises to be an enriching experience where experts and enthusiasts in radiopharmaceuticals gather to exchange knowledge and insights. We envision this conference as a forum where participants can meet, exchange ideas, and present their recent research discoveries in the field of radioisotope production, as well as the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, along with their pre- and clinical evaluations. The planned plenary and poster sessions will provide ample opportunities for networking, strengthening contacts and cultivating the radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine communities, particularly among young scientists, alongside researchers from various disciplines. During the conference, the NOMRad Scientific Committee will select three outstanding posters, each of which will be awarded with cash prizes and diplomas.
Additionally, on the last day of the conference, a visit to the MARIA Research Reactor, involved in the production of numerous radioisotopes for medical and industrial applications, is scheduled, together with a visit to the Centre for Design and Synthesis of Molecularly Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals (CERAD) and its newly installed cyclotron. Both facilities are situated at the National Centre for Nuclear Research in Otwock-Świerk.
