Progress reporting

EVALUATION OF PROJECT PROGRESS

During the project implementation period, the IRAP implementing unit submits reports to the FNP in accordance with the rules defined in the grant agreement and described below.

All templates necessary for correct submission of progress reports at a given stage of Project implementation are available in the application database in your Project account under the sub-tab "Downloads".

MID-TERM REVIEWS

Each mid-term evaluation consists of:

  • Opinions prepared by the reviewers on the basis of the submitted mid-term report,
  • Opinions given by experts on the project site, where they will meet, among others, R&D staff engaged in the project implementation, project partners, ISC members and research group leaders.

First mid-term review

The first mid-term evaluation is conducted 12 months after the project launch date. In accordance with the Competition Documentation, the first mid-term evaluation concerns mainly:

  1. The method of implementing the organisational structure proposed in the application;
  2. The implementation of good practices, e.g. with regard to the recruitment of research staff;
  3. Cooperation with a partner institution from abroad;
  4. The analysis of an evaluation of employees hired before the project (if applicable).

Second mid-term review

The second mid-term evaluation is conducted 36 months after the Project launch date. This evaluation focuses on:

  1. Evaluation of the research excellence of team leaders, team members and other staff members, including the number of new teams at the IRAP implementing unit;
  2. Leaders’ active involvement in applying for ERC or equally prestigious grants (e.g. those awarded by Wellcome Trust);
  3. Establishing cooperation with entrepreneurs;
  4. The level of internationalisation and development of R&D personnel for the needs of an innovative economy.

Mid-term reports should be submitted to the Foundation within 25 days after the end of the 12th and 36th month of the project implementation.

ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT

In accordance with the Grant Agreement, you should submit a progress report after each 12 calendar months of the project (counting from the date of the beginning of the project), no later than 25 days after its completion.

PROGRESS REPORT ON THE END OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE I PART PROJECT

Following the end of part 1 of the project implementation, the IRAP implementing unit should submit a report on this part of the project implementation, including details of the R&D work performed, the results obtained, the measurement and research methods developed as well as a description of how these shall be made available to scientist, including scientists from other research units. The report should be submitted together with the next periodic report on the project implementation, i.e. the progress report.
