THE SCOPE OF THE RESEARCH

The establishment of the Sano Center is the result of research activities in the framework of EU projects led by M. Bubak. Research focused on problem solving environments and decision support systems using distributed computing infrastructures for medicine. This research was continued in collaboration with the University of Sheffield during the first phase of the IRAP project at the Sano Center. The team conducted research on new computer predictive methods for selected diseases, including the use of machine learning and image processing methods. This research activity is part of the current Sano research program.
