ICCVS establishes numerous scientific collaborations with Polish and international partners. Today we would like to introduce Department of Thoracic Surgery from Medical University of Gdańsk. Cancer Immunology group collaborates closely with professor Witold Rzyman – head of the Department and doctor Tomasz Marjański in research on new therapeutic and diagnostic approaches in non-small cell lung cancer.
This week we are presenting another of our partners – IMMUNOLAB from Gdańsk. The main focus of our collaboration is to improve health and welfare of animals. Today we would like to introduce another institution with which we have established cooperation, Tri-City Veterinary Clinic. As part of this collaboration it is planned to set up “Comparative Oncology Centre” – veterinary centre for dog patients.
Dr Zuzanna Urban-Wójciuk from ICCVS was awarded with UGrants First funding. The goal of UGrants First initiative is to increase the number of research projects at the University of Gdansk by supporting researchers in obtaining their first external research grant. In the latest episode of our movie we would like to introduce another of our partners. ICCVS collaborates with Department of Medical Immunology (Medical University of Gdańsk and PolTREG S.A.). Thanks to this cooperation our scientists can use specialized laboratories in the GMP standard.
